David Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer

David Johnson is the President of BioCrossroadsLINX and President and Chief Executive Officer of BioCrossroads, a market-driven collaboration of Indiana’s corporate, university, government and entrepreneurial leaders in the life sciences industry. Johnson was one of the four original community organizers of the BioCrossroads initiative in 2002-2003. In this volunteer capacity, he led the formation and funding of the $73 million Indiana Future Fund, Indiana’s first major venture capital fund focused exclusively on life sciences investments. An honors graduate of Harvard University, Harvard Law School and Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar, Johnson was a partner in the law firm of Baker & Daniels from 1986 through 2004, and remains “of counsel” with the firm. David also serves on a variety of public and community boards and commissions.

Brian Stemme, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Brian Stemme is Vice President and COO of BioCrossroadsLINX and a Project Director for BioCrossroads. He is responsible for ensuring that BioCrossroadsLINX connects Indiana's workforce, university and industry stakeholders with biotechnology discovery centers throughout the U.S. He joined BioCrossroads in 2004 after stints at Eli Lilly and Company and Arthur Andersen. A graduate of Butler University, he is currently the President of Butler University’s Alumni Association and a member of Butler University’s Board of Trustees. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Muroplex Therapeutics.

Nora Doherty, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Nora Doherty, Vice President and CFO, of BioCrossroadsLINX, joined BioCrossroads in 2003 after working many years with entrepreneurial companies. She is Vice President of Finance for BioCrossroads and Managing Director for the Indiana Seed Fund. She was previously Vice President of Tom Doherty, Inc. Architectural Audio and Video, a nationally recognized award-winning custom audio and video business focused on home theater and corporate boardroom design and installation. Doherty received her B.A. and MBA from Indiana University, where she was a member of the honors program.

Lori LeRoy, Vice President and Chief Communications Officer

Lori LeRoy is Vice President and CCO of BioCrossroadsLINX and serves as Public Relations and Marketing Director for BioCrossroads. In her roles, she leads public/media relations activities, internal/external communications strategies, and advertising and general marketing activities. LeRoy was previously marketing manager, communications for Roche Diagnostics Diabetes Care business area. She has also held positions as senior manager, corporate communications at Philips Consumer Electronics and corporate communications manager at AirTran Airways. She earned a B.A. in English and Asian Studies from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and is on the communications committee for the Indiana State Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
